Treatment Options

These are all techniques that can be utilized by the massage therapist to help you achieve your goals surrounding your reason for treatment.

General Swedish Massage

Long, broad, sweeping strokes applied to increase circulation, reduce pain, release muscle tension and reduce inflammation.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy works to release referral patterns of pain that can spread to numerous areas of the body. Through sustained pressure, repetitive massage, hydrotherapy and stretching these pain patterns can be diminished and eventually eliminated.

Joint Play and Range of Motion

Low grade joint manipulations and range of motion techniques are utilized to increase range of motion, reduce restrictions and reduce pain.

Proprioceptive Techniques

A combination of techniques that help reduce spasm, pain and induce deep feelings of relaxation. This can include vibrational techniques, rocking, shaking and rhythmical movement.

Lymphatic Drainage

Reduce swelling and inflammation due to edema, injury or surgery. A lightly applied technique that works to drain from the extremity to the lymphatic terminal in the neck.

Myofascial Cupping

This technique involves using plastic or silicone “cups” which are applied to the surface of the skin. A pump is used to create suction, thereby lifting tissue. This technique is used for its ability to increase circulation and reduce fascial adhesions.

Jade Stone Therapy

Prized in massage therapy for their smoothness and superior ability to hold set temperature. Can be applied hot or cold depending on presentation of injury.

Pre/Post Natal Massage

A treatment tailored specifically to the safety and needs of pre/post natal clients - includes proper pillowing and supports.
